  9. who detest the idea of software presuming to decide for me whether or not to
  10. send a message.  It may be alright to ask the user whether to send an
  11. acknowledgement.

  15. The question of acknowledgements is really not an appropriate issue to be
  16. discussed in the IMAP mailing list.  It is orthogonal to the IMAP protocol.  I
  17. suggest the IETF-REMMAIL@UMICH.EDU mailing list, or the comp.mail.misc
  18. newsgroup.
